Well this isn't a good start I can't work out whose papers I've used. I know I got them from Simon Says Stamps because they do all the brands I love like Echo Park, Pebbles, Doodlebug and  Simple Stories to name a few.
So lets go to the Lawn Fawn items instead, if you follow my blog you will have seen this little boat before but this is the card I brought it to go with. The stamp set is called Float My Boat and the so is the die set to go with it, my little anchor came from the same set. Of course you need some waves for your little boats so I've used the MFT Formal Flourish, here I just cut them out twice in each colour and over lapped them. Then you need a sailor for you boats and I've used a Pure Innocence one again from MFT called Sailor Girl obviously. Forgot to mention the fishtail banner sentiment is using one of the Birthday Sentiment set from Simon Says Stamp.
So now it's YOUR turn.  Happy Crafting

Presents

My last card as GDT for Lily of the Valley, I guess you couldn't plan what happened this month. I pleased I managed to make the cards and didn't let one of my favourite stamp companies down. I decided to use one of the older images for my car this week.
You can see the camera hated my ribbon it is a perfect match! The papers are new ones from Lily of the Valley.
I used MFT for round the image and for the strip down the side which in hindsight perhaps would look better in the pink card to match the La La Land corners.

So thank you all at Lily of Valley for letting me be a GDT sorry it didn't go quite to plan. I am looking forward to going to the Birthday bash.

Up to Date

I'm a week behind so this week you get two layouts. The first one is a bit wishy washy but looks fine in real life. Love how the Baby Shower layout turned out can't believe it was a year ago that the photos was taken.
The papers are Echo Park, sorry no idea of the name.

I suppose really this is pretty close to being CAS layout well for me anyway. The choice of papers of which I have no idea whose they are but I've had them for years what decided on because of my nephews shirt. Fresh Foliage from Memory Box for some embellishment and the chervons are a Stampin Up punch.

Sunny Love

Sunnies at the ready cos this is one really on the bright scale. I have no idea why I chose bright yellow, I even went looking for the dotty paper which came out of Gingham and Dots bag. You must be wondering what the theme of the Everybody Art Challenge to include such a bright colour but the theme is LOVE which is why I used one of my many favourite Penny Black stamp. There nothing like a hug to prove you love someone.
To be honest the card made itself, once I had cut out the new Penny Black die, I was determined to use it and the rest had to fit. The daisies are MFT Upsy Daisy die which I think by now you know I love.
I used Liquid pearls fro the centres inside of pearls, works out a lot cheaper. My little hearts are from Simon Says Stamp die.
Don't forget to check out the team and hope you can join us this week.

At the moment making cards are difficult but I find using my favourite things (isn't that a song) helps.

Tulips

Gosh Easter seems ages ago now but this card is the last of the Easter ones. I used the Tulips image from Just Inklined. Although fairly easy to colour there is quite a lot of cutting out and layering but it definitely worth it.
I've kept it CAS one to show off the tulips but really for time since I had left it to last minute.

I had a lovely time at the All day crop on Saturday I made two layouts and nearly made a third but it was the layout from Hell. Everything that could go wrong did, so I quickly finished it yesterday not sure I will ever admit to making it.

Not For Grumpy

I always take the mickey out of my BIL because when I looked into his family I found out on his mothers' side there was a Head Gardener. Which is strange cos if he could he would concrete the lot.
So Gardening Gus from Dr Digi was perfect for him unfortunately as I was making the card I realised that I brought Gus quite a while ago and in the back of mind I felt I had already made a similar card for my BIL.
So I looked back to April last year and there he was.
I had to put a special sentiment on this years card but luckily I was able to pull them off and put more of a generic sentiment.
The papers are I think Bo Bunny but on the last bits. Fence from MFT, leaves possibly a die but it looks similar to a punch afraid I can't remember what I used now. The balloons are CC designs with Doodlebug twine.
I had to make another card for Keith but it did justified buying a couple more Dr Digi images.

Cow Friends

Just a quick post this morning off to MJ's All Day Crop although I never manage to get to the end of the day but still have a fabulous time.
So my Penny Black this week is using one of the cute cow image with all her chick-friends.
The papers are from Pebbles and I used Lavish branch from Memory box with a  funky flower punches for the the flowers.
The tag is using one of the Stamping Up punches. I'm pretty sure I used the sketch from somewhere but it could be one that I pinned a few weeks.

Have a good weekend Everyone

Mystery Solved

Remember this gorgeous flowers from Lizzie. Well it appears that the wrong card was on the bouquet and I haven't forgotten a Lizzie because they came from the Simon Say Stamps Team and Simon Says Stamps.
What a lovely thought and Thank you So much guys.
Because the florist had made such a mistake this arrived the other day.

Once again thank you to everyone at Simon Says Stamp.

Bunny Flowers

I haven't joined in with the Sketch Saturday sketch lately and I had the perfect image for this week from LOTV.
Although it only one sheet of patterned paper its busy enough to look busy. I used ribbon and lace for the mat across.
I cut out more than I needed of the flower and use them to decorate. The centres are tiny beads that are used for nail decorating since I can't get hold of accent beads now but they work just the same. A bit of flower soft and fun flock for the bunnies tail and one of LOTV sentiment to finish.

Little Monster

I actually love how this turned out even though there's a lot going on. The choice of papers gave me a headache why I decided to colour Mo's Little Monster to them I have no idea. First off the sketch is from Sketch and Stash with maybe some tweaks here and there.
I made my image circle grungy using the Stampin Up Grungy set, the fence is from MFT. One of reasons I used this image I wanted to used my Elizabeth die Ladybirds not sure why but I had to use them and I think they work great with a card that essentially is a boys card to his Mum or Dad.
I cut down the Fresh Foliage and made a pot for it just so my ladybirds are climbing off the branch. The monster sentiment is from Mo when you buy the image and the Birthday sentiment could Simon Says Stamps.
Once I placed my corners because at this point I wasn't liking my card much something was missing. Out came the grungy set and I stamped all the dots and splodges.

wed-newchallenge-header

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Thank you for joining us for our Animal Antics Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too. We will be back soon with the name of the lucky winner of the $50 Voucher This week the challenge is ,,,,,,,,

 KEEP IT CLEAN AND SIMPLE

with the optional extra to use one layer
We are showcasing Hero Arts Products  this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
50dollar_voucher_600px

I think I may have failed at Clean and Simple and luckily the one layer is an option because if you count the layers in my flowers there's definitely more than one.
First off I have used Hero Arts Lattice Background but used the second stamping of it so it was faded. The flowers are again Hero Arts Etched Flowers.
Had to use the large Happy Birthday from the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Balloons set and with the added use of the Simon Says Stamps Mum die this card ticks all the boxes for my MIL.
The dotty paper I believe is from a Simple Stories although it just there to bring a bit more interest to the card.

So now it's YOUR turn.  Happy Crafting

A Birthday Flower

Well you can tell my brain is not functionally well at the moment I thought I didn't have a card to show this morning so used my Less is More when in fact I have another card for Lily of the Valley as Guest Designer. What I'm loving is I can use whatever I like including my favourite dies and punches.
First of the is the cute couple stamp is Meant to Be and I used one of the new paper packs Timeless Victorian.
Then is was a case of how much can I get onto one card. I made a frame for the image using the Floral Ovals from Spellbinders and the Wrought Iron punch for a border. The corner is from Memory box and the flowers are the daisies from MFT. I even distressed the edges.
I'm really looking forward to visiting LOTV shop on their Birthday and its not far away now.

Make me Smile

The Less is More challenge this week is for something to Make You Smile and I decided to use the Simon Says Stamps Naughty Nautical although the boat is from Lawn Fawn. Also gave me a chance to use the MFT swirl which I brought with waves in mind but a bit posher.
I didn't cut out of the main card because I used thin card stock and it was having issues, so I cut two out and overlapped them.

Jubilee

I'm going to have check my diary cos my layout of the week has got missed so I need to know what week I'm up to. Doesn't help I'm not even sure what day of the week it is.
I've almost finished all the photos I wanted for 2012 but I needed to do one to celebrate the Jubilee of that year.
The papers were brought for it but I'm not sure where from now. I do know that my Union Jack flags where brought from the Scrapbook retreat we went on in March.
I think I still have do one on the Olympics as these were important events of 2012.

Blue Baby Fairy

I'm pretty sure its Tuesday and this week Everybody Art Challenge is for a cute card, I love cute cards especially with Mo's images. This is the card I had made last week for the the Anything Goes challenge but so I'm pleased I'm able to use for this weeks challenge.
The papers are some new ones but goodness know where is is now. I've used MFT Crochet Border for around my circle mat along swirl with the flower, the corners and the actually Upsy Daisy flower.
This little darling went to my DD baby shower, I had forgotten to get make but she decided this would be fine.

Don't forget to check out the team and hope you can join us this week.

Easter

I meant to show my Easter cards I made this weekend although I reckon this image could be used for many other reasons too. I'm pretty sure the cross came from Just Inklined. I have used it before but this time is was being sent to the lady Hubby lodged with when he moved South who is now in a Nursing Home. Although her memory isn't so good I still think its nice to receive a card.
I just layered the Spellbinders Majestic Labels Twenty five well I think it is and placed a colour behind them.
Its a foggy old morning which I hope clears I've convince my Hubby I need to got shopping and I've decided the Glitter Pot is the type of shopping I need!

Help

On Good Friday I received the most beautiful bouquet of flowers but I need some help to work out who sent them. They're from Lizzie but for the life of me I can't work out who she is, its doesn't help that I'm a bit of an emotional mess this weekend.
I'm sure when I discover who Lizzie is it I will be saying of course it is.
The deliverer confirmed they are for me and they are from Gateway Flowers. Hopefully someone can help me so I can thank the lovely person who sent them to me.
